What to send
The app name and the URL of the page showing the price. That is genuinely all — we check everything ourselves regardless, so there is no point writing a pitch.
For a correction, the app page and what is wrong. A link to the developer’s current pricing page is worth more than any amount of explanation.
What makes an app eligible
- It runs on macOS.
- You can pay once and keep using it — or it is free. Subscription-only apps are out, no matter how good.
- It is still maintained, or is a well-known classic that still works.
- The price is published somewhere we can read it.
What we will not do
We do not take payment for inclusion, placement, wording, or removal of a catch. If you are a developer and think the catch we recorded is unfair or out of date, tell us what changed and we will re-check it — that is a correction, and corrections are free and welcome. What we will not do is delete an accurate one.
