The site describes a "universal purchase" across Apple devices, but the listing also carries iOS-only unlocks at $19.99 and $29.99, so confirm with the developer what the $49.99 Mac unlock actually covers before assuming it includes iPhone, iPad and Watch. Calendar 366 arrives as two things in one download: a full calendar window with day, week, month and list views, and the menu bar dropdown the app was originally known for. Events and Apple Reminders share the same lists, typed entry parses phrases like "lunch with Anna tuesday 1pm", and it uses the accounts macOS already holds rather than asking for logins of its own.
The pricing needs reading slowly. The download is free with a thin feature set, premium runs for seven days, and then you choose $19.99 a year or $49.99 once. The one-time unlock breaks even partway through the third year and then stops asking. It is an in-app purchase rather than a licence key, which means it lives with your Apple Account and would not survive the developer replacing the listing. Apple also sells iOS-only unlocks at $19.99, so if you want the iPhone app included in the $49.99, ask before paying rather than after.
Skip it if Apple's Calendar already does what you need — the free tier is limited enough that you will meet the wall within a day, and the whole value of the app sits behind the unlock. Releases land very often, which is reassuring about support and occasionally means a rough build.
