Most of these tools exist as free websites, and that is exactly the problem. Decoding a JWT means pasting a credential into someone else's server; formatting a JSON payload from production means the same. DevUtils puts about thirty of those utilities in one native window that never touches the network, and it notices what is on your clipboard so the right tool is already open when you switch to it.

The set is wide rather than deep: JSON and YAML formatting and conversion, JWT decoding, regex testing with live match highlighting, Base64 and URL encoding, hash generation, Unix timestamp conversion, cron expression parsing, text diffs, UUID generation, colour conversion, Markdown preview. None of them is better than the best single-purpose tool for that one job. All of them being in one keystroke-away window is the point.

What $29 buys is the current version on one Mac plus a year of updates. When that year ends nothing breaks; you simply stop receiving new releases until you pay the renewal, which is 40% off. Two Macs need the $39 tier instead.
