Agenda puts notes on a timeline. Every note carries a date, can be attached to a calendar event, and can be pinned to an "On the Agenda" list you curate for the day. The note you wrote before Tuesday's meeting, the one you took during it, and the follow-up all sit in the same visible run instead of three folders. For people whose work arrives as meetings and projects, that ordering beats filing.
The payment model takes a minute to understand and is fairer than it first appears. The app is free with no time limit. A one-time $34.99 unlock gives you the premium features that exist now plus everything added over the next year, and you keep all of it permanently even if you never pay another cent. Paying again later only buys what shipped after your window closed. The $179 lifetime tier ends the question entirely.
The friction is real, though. Most of what people arrive for — full calendar integration, the better export and sharing options — sits behind that unlock, and a year on you will be told about the next batch of features you do not have. It is Mac, iPhone and iPad only. If you want to pay once and never think about it again, buy the lifetime tier rather than the $34.99 unlock, or accept that the free tier is where you will stay.
