RightFont picks up where Font Book gives up. It shows your whole library as previews you can actually read, lets you tag and group faces into collections, activates and deactivates them on demand so your font menus stop being a scroll of four thousand items, and hooks into design apps so you can swap a typeface in place. Teams point it at a shared Dropbox or Drive folder and everyone ends up with the same fonts without anyone running a licence server.

Fifty-nine dollars buys one Mac. That is the part people miss: the licence moves between machines, but only one at a time, so a desktop plus a laptop is two purchases. Updates and support run for a year. After that the version you own keeps working indefinitely, and the next one costs half price if you want it — one-time with an optional paid renewal, rather than updates forever.

If your library is a few dozen families you installed once and never think about, macOS already handles that and this is money you do not need to spend. It earns its price when you have accumulated foundry licences over years, juggle client brand kits, or need fonts on and off per project. Buy it from the developer's site; the free build sitting on the Mac App Store has not been updated since 2021.
